Did you know that 60% of employees leave their jobs because of their direct manager?

Here's the reality: People get promoted because they are good at their jobs, not because they are good at managing people.

We hear it all the time from our clients: "We just promoted someone and she was great at her job, but it seems like she doesn't know how to effectively lead a team." We also hear things like "He just moved into a team lead position and we're getting reports from employees that he's not giving feedback in a way that's helpful to the employees." We also know that the employee experience is crucial to engagement and retention of employees. That's super important when there aren't enough people currently available to fill all the open positions in this country. According to Gallup, managers account for at least 70% of the variance in employee engagement scores across business units. Isn't it time you invested in giving your new managers the skills and competencies they need to be successful? We can help! Many small businesses and start-ups don't have enough people to host an on-site course or the budget to provide multi-day training. Our online learning experience solves both of these issues by getting your new managers trained on important skills and not breaking the bank. Our New Manager Bootcamp Training Experience helps teach the skills that new managers need to be effective.

Great managers are the key to your organization's success, but you have to train them

Our course is based on our proprietary Elevate Framework that utilizes the KNOW-GROW-FLOW model.

  • Each module takes new managers step-by-step through a process to become a better people leader.

  • Your new managers will complete the program with more knowledge and confidence around their day-to-day management tasks and responsibilities.

  • This gives you peace of mind and less liability as an organization.

FAQ

  • What is the format of the training?

The training is delivered online via our private classroom platform, which includes course content led by the instructor through recorded video and audio over PowerPoint files, discussion boards, knowledge check questions, exercises and worksheets for maximum student learning.

  • How is training delivered?

The training is online and asynchronous. Participants receive an email each week alerting them that new content has been released. They are encouraged to complete the module in the week that it becomes available to enhance their overall learning experience and stay on track with their fellow participants.

  • How long is the training?

Each module will take approximately two hours to complete.

  • How do I know my managers are participating in the online course?

Managers must complete the current module before they can move on to the next module. At the completion of all 10 modules, a certificate is generated for participants who complete the entire program. We are also happy to email you along the way to alert you of any progress concerns.

  • How will managers be engaged in the learning process?

The instructor will be a participant in the discussion boards to ensure that questions are answered and there’s a good flow to the discussion. The instructor is also always available via email for individual participant questions.

  • Are participants able to complete the training on their own time?

Yes, all modules are opened on Mondays and available until the person completes the program. However, we recommend that employers give their managers time to complete the modules during work hours. It’s also helpful to set the expectation internally that managers should complete the training in 10 weeks, and they will need approximately two hours each week to work through content and exercises.

  • What is the investment per participant?

We have three different pricing options: accelerated, flagship and premium. The three options are detailed below. If this program was offered onsite, we would charge $10,000 per day, or $30,000 for the entire three-day program. In other words, this online version is a bargain for the same content and a very similar learning experience.

  • I still have questions. Who can assist me?

We are happy to set-up a discovery call to learn more about your organization and your new manager training needs. Please email [email protected] for more information and to schedule a call.

Our flagship bootcamp is offered 3-4 times each year and runs as a 10-week cohort, where new content is released each Monday. Participants will also be invited to participate in two group coaching calls during the program. This allows them to have real-time interaction with the instructor and other participants. Our premium bootcamp includes all of the benefits of our flagship program plus a printed workbook that's mailed to you, a bonus management book for your new manager library (also mailed to you), and two one-on-one coaching calls (up to 45 minutes each) during or immediately after the program.
